New Summer Program!
"Kids Go To Sea"

Tuesday, July 8, 9 a.m. to Noon.

Experience life at sea during the Civil War era with this new program offered to 8-10 year olds. Program is based on the memoirs of Harwich's Sarah Weekes Foster, who spent two years at sea aboard her father's ship. Includes hands-on activities. $10 per student/$8 members. Pre-registration required. Call or email the museum for more information or to pre-register. (508) 432-8089; harwichhistoricalsociety@verizon.net.
Program is sponsored by grants from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and Harwich's Cranberry Festival Committee.

We welcome visits from students of ages, scouts, home-school groups and others.

Visitors will explore two-hundred years of Harwich and Cape history through exhibits of textiles, tools, art, and photographs displayed in a 19th-century school building.

We also offer an interactive program about the history and culture of cranberry farming for elementary-age students. Students watch a short video about cranberry production, take a guided tour of the cranberry exhibit, and build “mini-bogs” in a cup. These programs are offered by reservation. Cost is $1 per student. For more information or to make a reservation, please call (508) 432-8089 or email harwichhistoricalsociety@verizon.net.
